When installing the new version 3, new configuration files are automatically created. If older configurations are detected, they are renamed and saved, so that you can later use them, to adjust the new configuration files.
When installing via SMC:
When installing via SMC, the configuration of the product is automatically inherited from the parent computers group or from the Security Environment. If you did not make any configuration changes on the parent element, then the product will have the default configuration settings. |
